Sunday Night

Jesus saved me
again today,

he took all
of my troubles
away,

Actually he just
made them a little
easier to deal with.

Taught me how to
feel joy again,
made me a little
more comfortable
in my own skin.

And comfortable
is better than how
I used to feel,
at least it's
something real.

I used to
numb
myself
everyday,

but the pain
never went away.

A slave
to the world,

I thought I'd
never be free,
and then I met
Jesus and he
saved me.
He saved me.

Poetic82: Beautiful. Jesus saved me too. We all come here to experience something in life, many times pain is tied to it. Not to teach us pain, but to teach us love. It is pain that guides and directs us and motivates us and molds us. I believe that we are like the butterfly who starts as a caterpillar, who must experience the pain of change but in the end experiences lifes utlimate beauty. Oh to become a butterfly. That is what Jesus shows us, what life is like as a butterfly. Wonderful read.

C.T. Bailey: The world thinks we're foolish...but we know better. Such a nice piece, it flowed very well. I enjoyed this...it was an encouragement.
